After high school, Coach Cox continued his basketball career at community college in Kansas before transferring to the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie for his sophomore year, but a knee injury forced him to take a year off. He openly talks about making bad decisions and running with the wrong crowd during his time off the court and came just 1/2” away from losing his life. He spent a week in ICU and was back on the basketball court in a month. He credits basketball for literally saving his life. When he returned to the court, he turned his life around. 

Coach Cox completed his college basketball career at Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma, where he contributed to the team’s Elite 8 appearances in 2011 and 2012. 

For the past 12 years, Coach Cox has been dedicated to coaching in Oklahoma, nurturing talent from 1st grade through high school in INBC and AAU basketball. He believes that the process of developing players is the most rewarding aspect of coaching. He strives not only to improve their basketball skills but also to help them grow into well-rounded individuals.

Coach Cox’s personal journey and experiences have shaped his coaching philosophy. From firsthand experience, he understands the profound impact basketball can have on a person's life. His goal is to give his players the opportunity to see the world and experience life’s possibilities through the game, just as it did for him. Under his guidance, Coach Cox hopes his players will develop the right skills for basketball and, more importantly, become better individuals prepared for life.

Head Coach Larry Cox

Head coach and OK Swish founder Larry Cox, a native of Fort Valley, Georgia, started a successful basketball career playing for Peach County High School. An exceptional multi-sport athlete, Coach Cox was ranked in the top 100 in the country for both football and basketball during his high school years. He achieved the remarkable feat of making the Georgia 3A all-state team in both sports as a sophomore, junior, and senior.

In 2006, he led the Middle Georgia Bucks to an AAU championship, showcasing his leadership and competitive spirit early on.

He then moved to Catoosa, where he coached junior high girls and varsity girls basketball for a year before transitioning to coach junior high boys and varsity boys basketball for three years, achieving two state tournament appearances.

His next coaching stint at Claremore Sequoyah saw him lead the junior high boys and varsity boys basketball teams for two years, securing another 7th grade conference championship. At Owasso, Coach Leuellen guided the varsity boys basketball team to a state tournament appearance during his two-year tenure. Currently, he is dedicated to coaching junior high girls and varsity girls basketball in Oologah.

Coach Leuellen attended Claremore Sequoyah for high school and pursued higher education at Northeastern State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance with a minor in chemistry. After high school, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years in Quantico, Virginia, participating in football and basketball leagues for his unit.

Coach Leuellen's journey through sports and military service has provided him with a wealth of experience and a unique perspective on the impact of athletics on personal growth and development. His commitment to his players goes beyond the court, aiming to instill valuable life lessons and skills that will benefit them in all aspects of their lives.

Larry Leuellen

Coach Larry Leuellen, a native of Claremore, Oklahoma, boasts an extensive athletic and coaching background. During his school years at Claremore Sequoyah, Coach Leuellen excelled in basketball, football, and baseball, and continued to showcase his talent in football and basketball during his time in the military.

With a diverse coaching resume, Coach Leuellen began his career coaching 7th grade boys basketball at Claremore, leading the team to a conference championship over three years.

Sommer Faulconer

Coach Sommer Faulconer is a dedicated and accomplished coach with an impressive athletic and coaching background. A former standout track athlete at Pittsburg State University, Coach Faulconer earned MIAA All-Conference honors in 2001 and was an NCAA Division II National Qualifier in both the 400m hurdles and 100m hurdles. During her high school career, she was named an Oklahoma All-State Track & Field athlete in 1997.

Coach Faulconer’s extensive coaching experience spans various levels. At Claremore Public Schools, she has served as the 7th-grade girls’ basketball coach, assistant high school softball coach, head freshman girls’ basketball coach, and head junior high softball coach.

Additionally, she has spent the past three years coaching youth basketball, leading her team The Ballers to an undefeated season in 2025 and a postseason tournament championship in 2024.

Currently, Coach Faulconer serves as the Girls' Basketball Coach at Justus-Tiawah Schools. Known for her demanding and aggressive coaching style, she instills discipline, competitiveness, and a winning mentality in her athletes - qualities that reflect her personal success and commitment as both an athlete and coach.

Robert Boyles

Coach Robert Boyles, known to players as Coach Rob or Coach Boyles, brings passion and experience to the basketball court. A Claremore High School graduate (Class of 2010), Coach Boyles continued his education and athletic involvement at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma.

Coach Boyles previously served as the head basketball coach at Wright Christian Academy, overseeing teams from middle school through high school levels. His coaching philosophy emphasizes teaching young athletes to understand, appreciate, and excel at basketball, fostering their love and dedication to the sport.

Additionally, Coach Boyles gained valuable experience working with the Tulsa Shock youth basketball program under the mentorship of Coach Ruben Diaz. During this period, he successfully coached the Tulsa Shock’s 5th- and 6th-grade basketball teams, further sharpening his ability to develop young talent and positively impact his players' growth both on and off the court.

Chloe Martin

Coach Chloe Martin brings a strong background in both playing and player development to the court. A standout point guard, she played for the 2018 5A state runner-up team at Pryor High School and later served as team captain at Bartlesville High School. Recognized for her talent, she earned Oklahoma Coaches Association and Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-State honors.

Coach Martin continued her basketball career on a full-ride scholarship to Pittsburg State in Kansas before transferring to Rogers State University, where she finished her playing career after overcoming injuries. She has since dedicated her time to coaching and player development at Score Basketball in Bixby and helping young athletes grow their game.

Christin Eberley

Coach Christin Eberley brings nearly two decades of experience working with young athletes in the Claremore community. A lifelong basketball player, she grew up competing in Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she developed a deep love for the game that continues to shape her coaching approach today.

Since moving to Claremore 19 years ago, Coach Eberley has coached youth teams across multiple sports, but basketball has always been her favorite. She’s passionate about helping athletes of all ages - from kindergarten through high school - build confidence, sharpen their skills, and grow both on and off the court. Known for her energy and encouragement, Coach Eberley is committed to developing well-rounded players and helping each athlete reach their full potential.
